DU does not represent Democrats. DU does not represent liberals/progressives.

This place is a mix of extreme left wing reactionaries; dozens upon dozens of rightwing trolls and moles; bored people who are always waiting for the next "outrage" to make them feel alive.

Critical thinking is rare. Science comes to DU to die. Focus is replaced by blurred vision, and attention spans are immeasurably short. DUers are notorious for having closed minds. Hysteria and hyperbole reign supreme.
