I think religious institutions are businesses and should be taxed like any other - and given exemptions for actual charity work. I don't think they deserve exemption b/c of their beliefs. There's no reason for the govt. to decide what is and isn't a religion by providing a tax exemption for some of them and excluding others.

that Republican rock hard base has been there for decades. They're the same ones who supported Bush until the bitter end. 20-30% of this nation seems to be comprised of religious zealots who have no other way of coming into power unless they form an alliance with the greediest motherfuckers in this nation.
