15. Republican Moms

My Mom was an "Eisenhower" Republican until age 82 in 2006, when she became disgusted with the Republican Party. She made up her mind that the Republican label didn't fit her anymore. Their ideals were not hers.

I was so proud of her when she walked up to me, after getting her photo taken at the DMV and spoke quietly in my ear, "I registered as a Democrat."

How does your Mom feel about the environment, outsourcing, health care, and women's rights? If they don't match up with the Republican Party's platform, ask her why she's still a Republican.
