27. I think the dog thing alone will do in his candidacy

There are a LOT of dog lovers in this country. There are a LOT of animal lovers in this country.

Even the NON lovers recognize it for the hideous abuse and cruelty that it is,and will question his judgement and character.

His attempt to explain it away because the crate didn't fit in the car? Seriously...like there were no other alternatives. He never heard of renting a vehicle that would fit the entire family? Or was he simply too cheap to do that?

I wonder what lesson he'll take away from this. Sadly, probably not the right lesson. I don't know any cure for what ails him.
