Just remember the GOP and the churches are doubling down. I believe they are determined to force a complete ban on birth control. Women will go to jail and be punished as far as GOP politicians are concerned. In their view you have NO CHOICE but to surrender. The blitzkrieg of anti woman legislation and initiatives is more than a coincidence. It is a deliberate war to make women subservient nationally. The GOP is the American Taliban.
And they are on a tear to stop anyone who does not support them from voting. I believe the November surprise will be to game and steal the vote like I now believe they did in 2010. This war is not over and it will only get worse. Santorum is a diversion and will not get the nomination.
We have 13 states facing personhood amendments with Oklahoma ready to pass it in the legislature. Once that is done family planning will be over and even illegal. The only thing left will be enforce celibacy. They will criminalize all sex outside of marriage with anti cohabitation laws, anti fornication laws, anti adultery laws. They will grant the religious right its wish of covenant marriage. There was legislation even proposed in California for mandatory counseling before divorce.
In Maine the GOP has proposed weakening or ending anti abuse laws, child labor laws. They constantly talk about ending welfare, food stamps, Medicare, Medicaide, and other pro women's programs.
So what do you all think the GOP is up to? They are not playing bean bag. When they say that they poor should not vote, will it be women next.
Women need to start smacking down these little cowards and so should men of consience. THE GOP HAS DECLARED TOTAL WAR ON WOMEN AND THEIR CHILDREN. It is only fair to declare war on them. This situation is NO LONGER a debate.
These GOP politicians don't take women seriously and are probably laughing at the womens' movement. If you wait until the election to smack them down most of their agenda will already be passed and in place.
