when you believe you've spotted a "criminal" in the area, you out weigh him, you have more defense training than him, you have a gun and, as a community watch person, you are already primed mentally for a possible encounter?

You're on watch, you're hyper viligent, you're aware, you're armed and then BOOM, you're on your back with the kid on top of you?

How is that?

And how was killing Trayvon Martin necessary force if you were able to get up unassisted afterward and not even have to go to the hospital?

I think you're lying and I think this Goode witness is flat out lying too. That's why Goode wouldn't commit to his story fully. He said he "wasn't positive" Trayvon was on top or that Zimmerman was screaming. He wanted to give himself an out in case strong evidence was ever presented to the contrary.

I think you caught up with Trayvon, demanded he stay where he was after telling him police were on the way. When Trayvon started to walk away, you physically grabbed him to detain him and a fight ensued. You threw him to the ground on his back where he landed a few kicks to your head and nose. That pissed you off and before he could upright himself from his position on his back, you put all your weight on him, pulled out your gun, and with his torso at a ninety degree angle on the ground, shot him in the chest.
