My current understanding of the Bolivian airplane story [View all]

Portugal told Bolivia it was having problems at Lisbon airport so Bolivia couldn't refuel there



Bolivia said, no, it had to refuel there. Portugal said, no, it couldn't



France didn't know what the fuck was going on



Austria told Bolivia it could land there, so Bolivia got mad at Italy instead



Spain told its ambassador to drop by and ask everybody to stop making so much noise



Bolivia told Spain Pizarro was a stupid poopie-head



The Spanish foreign minister pointed his finger vaguely elsewhere



Bolivia invited some friends to drop by



The plot thickened
