are we being subliminally pre-angered... [View all]

by the ads that present until you log in?
do the ads hawking different right wing talking points, asian import-a-whore's, or impeachment of the POTUS, act to cause us to be less civil to one another?
when i sign in the ads go away and become more generic product or service related ads. for instance atop this as i type is an ad for ge capital bank.
but when we first arrive at Du,until we log in,we are exposed to ad content, that to almost all but the most extreme of democrats, is offensive and disturbing. so we come in and start posting with this slurry of disgustingness all swirling in the backs of our minds.
i wonder how much this is in play when i see some of the rapid escalation ugly responses in OPs
any one else think it makes a difference? or not?
