It wasn't post racial in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, or now, in 2013.

We seem hardly more evolved than we were in the 1920s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90, 00s.

Just because some wanted it to be so - in many ways for purely political motives - doesn't make it so.
