That's an option for first-time offenders who get hit with misdemeanors. Not people who go around getting charged with felony assault on police officers.

lol, or maybe she actually did hit him in the fight. Doubtful his request would have been granted had the police arrived to find her on the floor bleeding with two black eyes and him standing over her wearing boxing gloves.

he completely outmatched his GF in size and strength.

Can't speak to that, I know nothing about her.
