And that includes appealing to the fear and racism in many people.

It's a very sad state of affairs when the defense can use tactics
like "armed with the sidewalk" and get away with it.

It's an even worse state of affairs when anyone can use a gun
on anyone else and get away with it as far as the criminal justice
system is concerned.

Of course, a huge price is paid in loss of heart and humanity.
