Book deal? Don't see it. He did nothing noteworthy. Don't see that he has a message. Wrong place, wrong time.
Talk shows? Don't see it happening. Too polarizing. Perhaps some uberpolarized talk shows would have him, but again, he has no message. No point. Just "I was prosecuted and found not guilty."
The trial was a cause, right and left. Trial's over. For progressives, there's what it was always about. For conservatives, eh. For some dyed-in-the-wool racists, sure, their "cause" continues. Still don't put GZ in that category.
Most people won't recognize him. Those who would today won't remember him much in 6 months. In a year it'll be mostly gone, unless some vigilante attacks.
Then again, his life wasn't great, as far as I can tell, before. However, it can get back to whatever "normal" was.
Job? What should this matter? He'll get one. Most African-Americans won't recognize him in a year. He'll look too different, esp. if he lets his hair grow. When people find out where he's working and an employer gets complaints or a boycott, then it'll matter. But don't let it be organized by anybody or any group with money. It'll also blow over and he'll move on.
The lack of condemnation and vitriole, not prognosticating boils and leprosy for GZ will probably be taken as "support." If you're not with somebody, you're not just against them but with their enemy. Takova zhizn'. C'est la vie.
