33. The whole thing happened within seconds!

It takes humans time to realize what's going on and form an opinion and react. It's a shocking situation. I don't know where you're from but if violence like this regularly occurs at your local McDonalds, to the point where you know exactly how you would react, then you should move. Again, most people shy away from intervening during verbal altercations and most will jump in when it turns violent.
