I've been here a few years, but mostly just read, rarely posted. I did post back in the day on that whole Todd Akin thing, and now this. Just, some things I HAVE to post on, ya know? lol

I have been doing what I do for about 10 years, and I'm pretty confident in my assessments of people. I have been trained (by insurance companies, unfortunately) to assess quickly and accurately (6 sessions is the average they give us). So, I don't have a lot of time to think about it - thankfully, I was well trained and have proven to be pretty accurate. Just with the information that I have currently (and I think we are still lacking a LOT of valid info in this case, esp re: Zimmerman) - I have a pretty strong idea of who and what Zimmerman is. I know a few people like him - ugh.

You don't have to be an "expert" to know right from wrong - obviously! Nor do you need a degree in Psychology to see when someone is dysfunctional - esp. not Zimmerman, he's got enough dysfunction going on that the laymen of the world can see it plain as day. My only issue is, I can't decide which dysfunction he has the MOST of... bc he shows several categories of it.

I would be really interested in seeing a psych eval on him - but of course, I'm a nerd and like those things and find it interesting. I am wondering why one wasn't done as it was my understanding that he didn't make the police force bc of something of this nature... that could be just conjecture, I haven't verified it. But, it wouldn't surprise me if he was found "unfit" emotionally....

Thanks again for the welcome and sharing your thoughts... I feel the same way about him that you do. And, agree, he won't learn from this bc he doesn't see anything wrong with what he did at all. We will see him in court again, I have no doubt. I wish I knew more about his childhood - I'm banking on bullying, animal aggression, bedwetting... maybe a few other things, but of course, those are all just guesses.
