But the Greek phallus statues were anatomically correct, very popular, and dutifully stationed in front of most houses in ancient Greece.
I had a Greek Civ professor in college, who as an archaeologist was an expert on them, and he would show the class literally dozens of photos that he had taken over the years as part of his research of the surviving penis sculptures.
You can imagine how that class went that semester.
