Every Single One of them is LOADED.

When my Dad, a Combat Marine Veteran of the Pacific & Korea gave me my first rifle in 1959 when I was 10 years old, and took me on a 3 day "vacation" in The Woods to teach me Marine Firearms Safety and Handling, Lesson #1

*There is No Such Thing as an "Unloaded" Weapon.
ALWAYS treat every firearm as if it has a Live Round in the Chamber.

There were a lot of other rules I learned over those 3 days,
and I have never forgotten them.

My Combat Marine Father is now gone,
but I still have that old bolt action .22, and still shoot it occasionally.
It is still always loaded.
