My guess was very close to your second guess, but then I couldn't figure out why she said "win the right..."
I understand that she is hateful and makes a living being inflammatory and involving herself in contrived controversies....That being said, I also think the statement literally does not make sense. I just wanted to see if I was simply confused or having a brain fart. The more people that take a guess at her literal meaning, I personally felt like it would be helpful.
