23. SoCal has already broken some heat records this year

It's more normal at the moment (currently 104 here in the Antelope Valley), but we had some early heat waves and more are expected.

I grew up in the SFV, and I remember the hot days as the ones where my buddies and I would be sitting in my backyard, leaning against the block wall, repeating the same old hot-day conversation: "What do you wanna do?" "I dunno, what do you wanna do?" "I dunno, what do you wanna do?" ...
