1. We are what ALEC is doing now what are progressive groups

Doing besides complaining.
The ideal of ALEC is not exclusive to the right/business community and progressive groups should orginizier and offer their proposals.

The truth is the progressive movement whil large online is pretty weak were it counts because of a lack of orginization and an unwillingness to realize if we want to win victories we have to put in the hard work which is just not being done.

With the power of the teachers unions there should have been alliances made with the business community and the higher education community. A legislative exchange nation wide rivaling ALEC should have been formed.


The other truth is most of what is happening is no longer red state only. Mayors of the biggests blue states and cities support the moves of ALEC. Just look at Rahm in Chitown, Bloomberg in NYC, NJ, ect....
