This is not about criticism within the black community. This is about a certain subset of people rushing to put two men on their shoulders one of whom has had the unmitigated gall to say that president Obama "fears free black men." These men have been blatant in their unending, embarrassingly petty and stupid criticisms of this president. They know that a certain sub-set of white liberal loves this type of shit. Cornel, who had been a hero of mine for DECADES is one I can barely stand now because of his unapologetically bitter and blatant dislike of this president.

Now, if these are the kind of folks you want to hitch your little red wagon to, you go right ahead. You aren't black and perhaps this doesn't mean that much to you. But it means alot to many, many black people. Which is why people who quote Tavis and Corney and Black Agenda Report show their true colors and again, they fool NO ONE.
