(39,909 posts)I was under no illusion that I was voting for "Greatness".
Obama WAS my 2nd to last choice among ALL the Candidates,
but I DID believe that he would provide some impetus for "CHANGE",
in THAT belief, I WAS disappointed.
He never even bothered to show up for the fight on his Campaign Promises to the Working Class:
EFCA,
the re-negotiation of NAFTA,
the "comfortable Shoes",
the Public Option,
ending the Bush tax Cuts
..I could go on, but why?
President Obama had the opportunity for Greatness:

"Oh, What could have been."
...but he declined the challenge,
and instead sought "Bi-partisan Consensus".
Mediocrity WAS his choice.
He coulda been a Contender!
After reading the replies on this thread,
I will go back and give it a Rec.
