51. So MSNBC exists just to cover things that entertain you or that you think important?

I have no interest in baseball or football, would it be sensible if I bemoaned coverage of the World Series or the Superbowl?

I doubt the media has ever covered everything in proportion to its importance. The media has always covered things that at least a subset of people are interested in - especially if they have an easy story line. This does - whether a girl or boy, this child has an excellent chance of being Britain's monarch. The first time that will happen if the baby is a girl. In addition, it is a break from largely negative news - Trayvon Martin, the various wars, Congress for the most part, an economy recovering unequally - not creating enough jobs needed for the bottom half or the kids who graduated college since 2009. It is celebrity news - and as celebrities go, that couple are at least as well intentioned as most.
