12. i became a grandmother when i was 38. i was with my

DIL and son till 1 am when the hospital said it would be a while. i went home and got some sleep and the phone rang around 5 am to tell me i had a granddaughter. i was so excited. back in '79 we didn't know the sex until the birth. i was tired and took the day off of work -- got a few more hours sleep and was back at the hospital.
