17. I very much doubt Darby is an FBI infiltrator at this point

It's absolutely true that any protest movement needs to assume it's riddled with infiltrators and act accordingly. But Darby is something different. Once he'd done his original provocateur thing, he was of no further use to the FBI. They presumably cast him loose at that point -- and Breitbart came to his rescue. Now that Breitbart is gone, he seems to be dealing with Glenn Beck. But whatever the details, he seems to be primarily functioning as a smear artist, trying to find dirt on dissidents and cast them in the most embarrassing possible light. He's a slightly less erratic version of James O'Keefe and correspondingly more dangerous.
