he is absolutely RIGHT!!!

Ask yourself this:

Why is it that neither Cornel West nor Tavis Smiley ever appeared on any Sunday talk show, and defintely not anything on Faux News before 2007?

No one in mainstream America gave a fuck about these two clowns until they started to bash Obama.

And now all of the sudden, West and Smiley are everywhere. They have become the darlings of conservative talk radio and of those white liberals who take refuge in what they say because they are either angry with Obama, hate Obama, or never supported him in the first place.

Tavis Smiley only supported Hillary Clinton to spite Obama because he didn't show up to his even during the 2008 primaries and she did.

For both these men, it is personal.

I'm not suggesting that some of the criticisms against Obama aren't relevant (for example, the drones, NSA); however, for me, they lack credibility because many of us especially in the black community understand that their disdain for the president is personal.
