Wasn't it always that way? Except for the glorious San Francisco days, Haight-Ashbury, flower children, long long hair and no make.up. Maxi skirts, tie-dye and beads.

Oh, and Seattle 90s grunge. T-shirts over other t-shirts under flannel shirts over baggy jeans. Converse high-tops, not tied.

Speaking of the 80s though, I'm really into retro clothing. The real stuff. And I have the most magnificent black suede coat, sort of triangular in line, with a large hood that lies flat on the shoulders and forms a triangle on the back. And it has little gold 4-point stars all over the shoulders and lapels. It was given to me not long ago since I collect nice retro. I'd almost put up with Clam Rock again to wear it once. Almost.
