When writing for an important purpose, like business or what have you, I always double check these things. When writing in these types of situations, I generally don't bother, ...

So, let me get this straight. You're posting an OP to us, the readers, to express your opinion. But we are not as important as a "what have you", so you don't bother with double checking your work. OK, if that's how much you value us, I'll value your contributions accordingly.
