Rick Santorum continues to prove that America is suffering a national nervous breakdown. Jesus of Pennsylvania has taken his revival to the road and is preaching some extreme theocracy to adoring, applauding crowds. Holy Rick is making some outrageous statements, but remains the front-runner. Mass hysteria can be the only explanation. Just this week Rick has suggested that the President wanted to kill disabled babies. Yes, that’s right. Speaking to a bunch of rapture-ready lunatics in Ohio, Sick Santorum suggested that by offering free prenatal screening, President Obama’s health care programs “ends up in more abortions and therefore less care that has to be done because we cull the ranks of the disabled in our society. That, too, is part of Obamacare, another hidden message as to what President Obama thinks of those who are less able than the elites who want to govern our country,” Santorum said.

The masses clapped and cheered like fervent lemmings.

He also suggested President Obama subscribed to a “phony theology . . . not a theology based on the Bible” and that the President has elevated “the Earth above Man” in his efforts to protect the environment. Amen. Oh sure, it’s much better to elevate the CORPORATE polluters above EVERYTHING so that man has no clean air to breathe or safe water to drink. Is that in the Bible somewhere? Beautiful are the corporate raiders for they shall inherit all the natural resources?

So if elected, his entire Presidential effort will be focused on abolishing environmental regulations, abortion, prenatal care, public education, scientific development, and will enforce mandated Christian theology on the citizenry. Welcome to the new Inquisition.
