41. Absolutely astounding to see this posted at DU

and I'm blown away to read the responses to it. This post without a doubt shows how low DU has sunk and puts us on par with the right wing sites and Facebook posts that are also exploiting the death of this baby. The amazing thing is DU'ers can't seem to see the exploitation themselves and instead are using it as a foil in their civil war on "racism".

The entire narrative has been wrong from the get go and even the location of the crime is inaccurate in both the right and left leaning narratives being put forth. There is no proof that the woman had her baby killed. The person that said that she had her baby killed is her disgruntled daughter. The police have found no evidence to support this. However, they did find the murder weapon and it was used previously by the same shooter to shoot another person in a robbery attempt.

This case and the Martin/Zimmerman case have nothing in common aside from the level of horrible violence sad human beings choose to inflict on others. There is no race issue here. It is sad and pathetic to see so many people at DU using this case to make a comparison and equally sad to see so many people so misinformed. If this is DU then we are truly fucked. RIP to little Antonio. It's one tragic thing to die so young with your whole life in front of you and another to be used after you are dead. How incredibly sad.
