"Demolition had not yet been set off"? When did they start blowing up planes in Opa Locka? Oh, and if demolition had not yet begun why does the first paragraph tell us that the plane is already partially dismantled? Gesus, what piss poor writing. Just a guess of course, but it sounds like an old airplane (possibly Coast Guard) that had some DU armor in its belly and that as scrapping went forward the armor that got pulled off it was tossed into a waiting 55-gallon drum, something that is often used as a waste can.
