He was a Republican by name, but woah, he was far, FAR to left of anything today short of Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren.

Other than that I agree with EVERYTHING you just posted. Well, yeah, I am an FDR Democrat, too, without reservation. BTW bvar22 I've read your stuff around here... impressive! Thanks.
