How can some feel like "middle class" unless half the people are worse off? Unfortunately, that creates a group within the working poor that wants to cause strife to as many less fortunate as possible. For the same reason they also need to reach up to the next rung of the ladder and pull those folks down to within stomping distance.

I call them "Barstool Republicans", people who struggle to make ends meet working in a dead-end job, then get off work and channel talking points straight out of the mouth of Steve Forbes.
