All guns that can be fired are under lock and key with trigger locks in a locked gun case. ammo is in a different location. I have the only key. Since the vintage guns cannot be fired, they are on display.
I have taken every precaution. I have no doubt of what you say. . .but I, unlike gundamentalists, see my guns as the danger they are and act accordingly.
On top of that, when I went hunting, unlike the amateur nutjobs, I made sure I followed the idea of knowing what I was shooting at before I squeezed the trigger, to avoid shooting a deer in a red hat or a large, flesh colored squirrel.
