(13,812 posts)42. I was addicted to Flintstones children vitamins.
I blame my parents. They pushed it on me at a very young age. They said things like, "if I don't take it I would get beat up for being a skinny weakling".
By the time I was in middle school I was chopping them and snorting them. When I graduated I was smoking them a few times a day.
I hit bottom in my late twenties when I was found strung out in a ditch after a weeklong bender of mainlining them.
I want to say that I am clean of Flintstones vitamins for 15 years now and taking it one day at a time.

Alcohol and weed. Quite frankly it's the only thing keeping me from strangling people. nt
