that a person can "choose" to accept the baptism after they're dead, in some kind of limbo-like state before the next stage of the afterlife. It may be the only religion that doesn't say, "when you're dead, it's over, and if you didn't make the right choices in life, you're fucked in the next life."
Of course, I consider it (and all religion) to be bullshit. However, I really don't see it as any different from a congregation of people of religion A praying for a dead person from religion B, and that goes on every day.
