6. Poverty has caught up with the Republicans

50 years of low wages and rampant corporate greed have left the Republican's facing the very crisis they have originated, poverty and the affect it has on votes. Hard to win an election if you consistently add to the numbers of low income families by paying the lowest wages possible. This is the collapse, they could never admit. Now it has cost them and will continue to do so in the form of elections.
