has to be swamp gas.
The primary hull is round indicating a 22nd century Constitution class starship, but the engine nacelles are from a 23rd century Galaxy class cruiser.

I suppose weather balloon is a limited hang-out for DOD surveillance blimp

In 1968 the NSA was using a similar balloon in Viet Nam, it blew away, into Cambodia
