add huge taxes on any recharging locations, just to make up for lost gasoline tax revenue. And/or, add a few high registration fee. Then, who will still want an electric car? Not me. I have a 2002 Dodge Intrepid ( a big car) with a V6. I get 18 mph in town, 30 mph on interstates. Since I bought that car (in Oct. of 2001), mileage has just gone further and further down.
