there has been no closure.

There is the betrayal of the whole thing. Someone here, s4p, I think, posted the reasons he gave. About why he did it. He took it on himself to kill the people there. And he seems to be very clever, too, or so it would appear.

I believe they are trying to give him the best trial they can so that there won't be appeals. Not sure how stuff works in that legal system. Seems a lot different than civilian. But the military is a different world, where members have expectations of trust in each other.

He broke his word in the worst possible way. In days gone by he might have been killed on the spot, he was lucky to have not been killed that way.

It must be very hurtful to have this drug out the way it has been. They know he does not regret it. s4p thinks he is insane, and I guess a lot of people want to make exuses for him, but only because they don't want to admit people like that exist.
