They "flagged" my account because I had used PayPal at one time to sell some stuff then stopped for awhile and then started up again and shortly thereafter their "system" inexplicably flagged my account and despite several frustrating calls to PayPal staff, they were unable to do anything to resolve the issue and basically told me that I had to conduct several more successful transactions via PayPal (i.e. sell more stuff on eBay) in order for them to stop flagging my account. It sounds more or less they have computers and their "system" running the show over there because I kept getting the same canned replies and answers to all of my questions when I've called. There are apparently a lot of horror stories out there about PayPal doing this to a lot of people, so it seems like I'm not experiencing anything particularly unique. Actually, compared with some stories out there online, mine has hardly been the worse but it still aggravates me that I have to wait 20-30 days to get the money I earn from selling on eBay for no particularly good reason.
