How far the big money "journalists" have fallen. [View all]

I was struck tonight as Howard Fineman, one of MSNBC's favorite pundit-guests, was introduced as part of a panel on O'Donnell's show.

Howard is now the "political editor of AOL and an MSNBC contributor."

Wow! This guy used to be a big cheese and Lord High Mucky-Muck at Newsweek. They let him go for no more a reason than his fat salary. Then he went to Huffington Post. And now he's at AOL (AOL? Who even knew they were still in business???)

His fall is pretty typical. A lot of other talking heads have followed the same sort of path.

I wonder how Howie pays his mortgage these days.
