The only people who even cared were internet keyboard warriors, the fringe element of the internetz.

The only programs most people even remember are PRISM and the metadata collection. So far there is no evidence of direct access to servers the way he claimed. As for the metadata phone record collection, that is something we've known about since 2006 or so and a warrant was obtained.

I wonder when his book is coming out. Interesting how he's trying to cash in on all this.
