(154 posts)... my bad. But the criticism of waiting to midterms, which we looking bleak, at best, was the height of political stupidity.
Bear in mind, he went from Jesus Christ-like approval (80%+) to barely above water, since average Americans felt too little had been done, and the recovery was not being felt by average Americans, but instead, Wall Street execs enjoying record bonuses.
Had he used the first 100 days, doing what he promised, not only would we be far better off today, but Pelosi would be the speaker of the house.
Be an apologist if you want. But for me, I find it hard to believe that any who possess core Dem values, can be at happy with what Obama has done, despite being handed the firggin' country on silver platter: EC-landslide; House; Super Majority Senate. How many presidents have ever gotten that? No excuse, IMO.
