We’ll discuss the ultra-pious Senator Ted Cruz of Texas, who borrowed a page from Marcus “Pray Away the Gay” Bachmann to urge his followers to fight the “assault on marriage” by praying to God to end the recently legalized marriage equality. It seems Cruz believes God Hates Gays, too.

That’s only topped by the pastor in Tempe, AZ who advocates the death penalty for homosexuals. How Christ-like! After all, Jesus was all about the hatin’ and killin’. It is, however, not a surprising sentiment from the Rapture Righties in Arizona who revere their gun shops as much as their churches.
