Sounds like a term of derision that only serves to reinforce negative emotions towards liberals and progressives, the same people who thought they were electing a fellow liberal and progressive in Barack Obama. Odd, that's exactly how he described himself in the campaign in 2008 and promised in 2012 he'd return.
