(62,325 posts)when he left the Senate in HIS first term without waiting to 'learn more things'. I fully supported him mainly because of his opposition to the Iraq war, because there no way my conscience would allow me to support ANYONE who supported or still does, that MASSIVE crime against humanity.
I hope she runs and I hope she wins, but I am now older and wiser than in 2008 so I will want to know who she intends to appoint to her Cabinet, because when I support Democrats I do not mean I secretly support Republicans, just so long as sneak back into positions of power in a Democratic Cabinet.
And I will watch how she acts regarding the issues for the next few years to make sure she doesn't say one thing, they vote for another, BIG example, the disgraceful Fisa Bill Amendment.
Live and learn and we have. Watch what they do, not what they say.
So far, so good, she has been consistent in her views and fearless in stating them rather than being 'careful'. But I do want to know more about her positions on other issues. We have been very disappointed in the recent past, I don't want that to happen again.
