116. Nobody ever gives Andrew Cuomo any love...

-He has DC experience, having run HUD under Clinton.

-He got the Senecas to cough up the tens of millions they were withholding from Buffalo, Niagara Falls and Salamanca, smoothing relations turned into a gigantic clusterfuck by his predecessors (including his father) which previously included Senecas blockading roads and sowing so much distrust the DOT refused to even work with them to fix some of the worst stretches of Interstate in the country for decades. Oh, and I-86 through Salamanca is getting redone this year, thanks to efforts by the state to smooth things over instead of the "Blow Me" responses sent by other governors.

-He started a restructuring of the state tax code with progressive increases for the wealthiest (pissed off Donald Trump and Rush, so it's good for me).

-Oh, yeah, and he got a Republican-controlled Senate to approve GAY MARRIAGE and an ASSAULT WEAPONS BAN that made the '94 federal legislation look like a gun humper's wet dream.

-He's been working on decriminalizing marijuana, strengthening pro-choice protections, and lots of other things.
