... Obama is not as gay-equality-minded as we might like to think. DADT pretty much ended on its own. DOMA, too, ended on its own, with only Obama saying he'd not have Justice defend the law.
And he was late to the party supporting full marriage rights, saying instead he only supported civil unions.
