Everything else they do revolves around this fundamental. Kill unions = cheap labor. Kill medicare = cheap labor. Shift the tax burden from corporations to individuals = cheap labor. Fight health care as a right = cheap labor. This is the most important premise of modern Republicanism.
Yes, too many Democrats suffer from Stockholm Syndrome. But it is fundamentally a Republican thing. Our job is to let Democrats know this is not a negotiable item in the 21st Century.
