In reply to the discussion: The Volkswagen XL1: 147 mpg car. [View all]After I posted, I realized that I was misunderstanding the issue. I was thinking solely in terms of a literal zero-to-60, rather than from a need to accelerate while already in motion or to ascend a grade.
